TCL TAB Pro 5G - Set Up Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up fingerprint recognition on your TAB Pro 5G.
  • A fingerprint is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and free of moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes, etc.
  • Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:

    Security & biometrics
    .
  3. From the DEVICE SECURITY section, tap
    Fingerprint
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
    If necessary, refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock for assistance.
  5. Tap
    Add fingerprint
    .
  6. Review the fingerprint sensor info then tap
    GOT IT
     (lower-right).
  7. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
    Power button
     multiple times to scan your fingerprint.

    DONE
