Here's how to turn Mobile Hotspot for your moto g stylus on or off.
When Mobile Hotspot is turned on, other Wi-Fi services are turned off.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Network & internet
     >
    Advanced
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile
    Hotspot & Tethering
    .
  4. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  5. Tap the
    Mobile Hotspot switch
    (upper-right) to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  6. If presented with 'Mobile Hotspot' message, review the info then tap
    OK
    .
